BRANCH LOCATIONS |
Second Mile Club offers 150 weekly social, recreational and educational programs for adults 55+ at seven branches located throughout the City of Toronto. Not all activities are available at all branches. ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICE: Seniors - 55 years of age and older. No geographic boundaries. |
Arts & Crafts: Ceramics, pottery, oil and water colour painting, brush painting, crocheting, knitting, creative activities. Cultural: Peking Opera, Chinese Singing, Chinese Calligraphy |
Educational: Book clubs, discussion groups, computer classes. Health: Foot clinics, nutritional and health promotion programs. |
Annual Membership Fee One Day a week branches - $10.00 Three and Five Day a week branches - $30.00 $30.00 entitles you to participate at all locations at no additional cost. (Board of Education programs excepted) |
Social Activities: Dancing - square, line and folk; bridge, euchre, table games, mah-jong, ... Sports & Fitness: Five pin, lawn and carpet bowling, Tai-Chi, fitness (low impact and chair), darts, snooker, walking club and much more. |
