Shown above is the 78th Fraser Highlanders Ottawa Garrison Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major Ermis Durofil, playing during the dinner at the Chateau Laurier, Rideau St., Ottawa. On the left is the dais for the ballroom band, but the head table guests are "buried" in the distance. The Scottish-theme wall banners, provided by the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society Ottawa Branch, can be seen, together with the Societies' Saltire, on a yellow background. The Societies' Banner was not available for display, unfortunately.

The Society extends its grateful thanks to its Gala Dinner Committee:

Robert Campbell; Stuart Jardine - address to the haggis ; Ross MacLellan - Pipe Band liason; Tom McLellan - MC; Phyllis Trepanier - door prizes; John & Pat Shaver - wall & table decorations; Sidney Hicks - press liason, Lynn Paul - table decorations; Elaine Lund - supplementary supplies; Margaret Bell; Bruce MacDonald - Sir John A Macdonald Award liason, Hugh & Frances Reekie - ticket sales, artwork, printing, table seating

Gala Chair - Margaret Littlejohn - Chateau liason, flowers, guest suite, gifts
