Located in a secluded Heritage area of Kamloops, Joyce's Bed & Breakfast (1987) offers a unique, restful, centrally air-conditioned stay year round. Excellent, safe parking is available at no charge. Originally built in 1911 by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for its manager, all bathrooms were completely renovated in 1994. This character home retains its turn-of-the-century charm, further enhanced by its covered verandah and sheltered gardens.

This leisurely, secure and quiet family neighborhood features a tree-shaded Heritage Walk, where handsome bronze plaques describe the history of each house to the visitor. The downtown core, (Riverside Park, Coliseum, shops, restaurants, Art Gallery and Museum) is just a short stroll along this Walk, as is the hospital.

Summer room prices range from $45 single to $65/couple CDN. October to March, prices run from $40 to $55 CDN, all breakfasts included. All rooms are smoke free. Smokers are welcome to smoke and relax on the verandah. The cheerful double bedroom pictured above, overlooks the city and two great river valleys. The nightly rate for this room is $55 per couple. In addition, a charming queen bedroom is available at $60, and another room, the "family room", has both a double and a twin bed in it (as well as books and toys) at $65. Each spacious room can comfortably hold 4 people by adding roll cots. For each extra adult guest, add $20, children 7 to 12, $10 and children below 7 are free.
