Wilfrid L aurier is home to one of Canada's premiere Business schools. Take a look at what Laurier Grads can offer your company.

I have placed information that I thought would be most interesting to those who have no idea who I am.

Where I came from and where I am going
I am currently working as an Associate in the Technology Group of Deloitte and Touche Corporate Finance. Prior to this, I worked for AGF Group of funds developing financial models, and structuring investment portfolio transactions. I am also a Level III Chartered Financial Analyst candidate, a designation that I hope to have awarded to me by the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) next year.

Interests and Hobbies
In my spare time I try to

  • run, work-out
  • play squash, ski, swim
  • go fishing
  • ballroom dance
  • listen to different types of music
  • cook neat foods
  • and, sometimes travel
  •
    What I like
I like the outdoors, jazz and cocktail music, and exotic cuisine (or just good food of any kind as my friends will tell you). I like creative and ambitious people.

In terms of my career, I love being an Associate on the Corporate Finance Technology Team. Here, I manage the day-to-day execution of our financing, and merger and acquisition mandates. It is a very exciting environment as I am able to meet with many fascinating entrepreneurs and financiers.

About Wilfrid Laurier University and my Professors
Wilfrid Laurier, my school, is consistently ranked in the top tier of global business schools. Recently our finance department was awarded for its high level of faculty research, placing first (Ivey & Queen's did not make the top 10) in Canada, and seventh in North America (even ahead of Harvard). I figured that since my school gave me such a good education I would put some notable info onto my web page. Below is a listing of some of the more specialized courses that I have taken, and links to my Professors' biographies.
