Over Punched
Can occur two ways:
- When the date is ground down to create a blank dated hub, not quite all the previous date has been removed, and when punched with a different number punch traces of the original date are still some what visible.
- Can also occur by applying a numeral or letter punch directly to a die over an existing punch mark.
