1. Entry Information: The exhibition is open to all visual artists. Entry Deadline is October 1st, 2000, and all fees are due at this time. Artists will be notified by phone two weeks after this date.

2. Display Categories: Any visual art - drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media - will be considered. Artist may enter up to two works.

3. Dimensions: Maximum size is 3" by 4" (10 x 15cm) or 3"x3"x4" for three dimensional work. The work may be smaller, but must not exceed the maximum sizes on any side.

4. Art Works: No work that is not original or has been displayed at Spencer Gallery in the past may be entered. All work must be signed. Write artist's name, the title and media on the back with an arrow indicating the top. Works must be unframed and unmatted!!

5. Shipping: Artist must deliver work tot he gallery, no later than the deadline. After that date, no work will be accepted. Artists must pick up their work at the end of the show.

6. Entry Fee: The entry fee is $14 plus a $6 handling fee (non refundable), payable by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. The fee is due at the time of entry, no later than October 1st.

7. Jury: Works to be exhibited will be selected by a jury of individuals involved in the art field. All decisions of the jury are final. No entry may be withdrawn once it is accepted.

8. Prizes: There will be a total of $600 in framing prizes awarded. First $200. Second $150. Third $100. There will also be seven honourable mention prizes of $50 each. The gallery reserves the right to not award prizes if the entries are not of sufficient merit.

9. Sales Commission: All works must be for sale. Spencer Gallery will take a 35% commission for all works sold at a price specified by the artist.

10. Liability: Spencer Gallery assumes limited liability for loss or damage for 65% of the selling price to a maximum of $100 per artist. Work in transit is not covered.

11. Payment: All unsold works (in recieved condition), prizes and payment for sold works may be picked up by the artist one week after the exhibition ends.

12. Date of Exhibition: The exhibition will run from November 1 to 30. There will be an opening reception held at the gallery - date to be announced. The gallery reserves the right to extend the exhibition.
