Raku Pottery by Wendy Squirrel


Pottery is always a great accessory to home decor, and Raku pottery (a Japanese firing technique) has a rich, organic quality that cannot be matched. Wendy Squirrel, an artist working in Alberta has created a line of vases, candles holders and decorative platters with a deep, metallic finish. Each piece is a unique work of art.

Art Glass

At Spencer Gallery, we carry several different lines of hand blown glass objects, each with its own personality, conveying the unique talents of the artist. Cheryl Takacs, a Hamilton artist has created a line of brightly coloured pieces - mugs, pitchers, bowls and vases. The glass comes in a variety of opaque, primary colours. Robert Held is a Vancouver artist who works in very delicate semi-transparent shades of amber, purple, blue and green to create elegant swirling patterns. We carry a number of perfume bottles, vases and paper weights. Glass Eye studio has produced a line of blown glass ornaments - glass balls and bells. Each piece makes a beautiful addition to any collection!
