Where did we meet?
Some of the MX-3'er I met by chance, some a little more unusual that others.....

Luc St. Pierre: Luc was introduced to me by Eric a friend of both of us that's in the avation industry. Eric was telling Luc about the swap in progress and the prototype thermo spacers. I believe Luc knew how the swap was progressing from the time I bought the engine to the day my car hit the dyno a week after the swap. Soon after that Luc drove to Montreal to meet up with me. and check out the car.
Jenn G I receive an Email asking if was going to a show in Albany, NY from Jenn. I wasn't planning on it but some of my friends were going. So at the last minute I decided to go. At the show I saw her car pull in and went over to talk to her. Later in the show she came by my car but I was off somewhere else. My friends came up to me and said there was some cute blond girl checking my car out and said she would come back later. I said Oh yeah that's Jenn.
Dave Lauzier I had heard of him and is car for a long time. Through people that said they knew him I invited him to the Lazer show. Due to poor communication I was told he would come so I put his name of the list on my website as being at the show. He though I was trying to use his name for commercial purposes. I explained to him the chain of events and told him it was an honest mistake and at that time no one knew outside of montreal knows who he is anyway. Since then he has made a name for himself in the import racing community
Steve "Tekguy" Szenkovics The first time I met Steve was really wierd. I was driving home from the west end of Monreal to my home on the south shore. I remember seen some asshole in a Mustang convertible weaving through traffic at high speed down the Decari Expressway a few minutes later traffic came to a stop. Some guy is a rented Taurus was yelling out the window I'm from Ontario, I own a MX-3 to. Anyway traffic in each lane would inch ahead enough that this guy could see the little 2.5GT emblem in place of the MX-3 logo. I had something else on my mind and wasn't paying much attention to the guy in the Taurus. A year later at the Lazer show This guy turned out to be Steve. We had a good laugh about it when we recognized each other.
Lisa L. Ziegler Lisa I met by email. She was trying to join the egroups mail list. For some reason she could receive from the list but couldn't reply. We spent a whole Sunday trying to figure out why. Turned out the way her address was sent with her on her email and the way she entered it were slightly different. From there we just kept emailling each other at least once a day. After about 2 to3 weeks it occurred to my that we had never talked about our cars considering it was an automotive mailing list the got us together in the first place. I asked her about her car one day. She said you aren't going to kick me off the list I don't actually own a MX-3 yet but I'm looking for one.
