At Bapkek I want to breed for quality not quantity. Bapkek has a very nice foundation to breed from. They all have solid temperaments and sound confirmation. I want to maintain their drives and build a stocky, balanced, square dog. Fat is not a substitue for substance. My ideal size is a male at 26" at 90lbs and a bitch 25" at 75lbs, no giants and no toys. I want a good harsh double coat suitable for the climate of the land of origin, not the artic. Timid, vicous or lazy dogs will not be bred. All breeding stock have their eyes and hips cleared.

This will be the last litter from my most favored bitch. Brie is strong and dominant in mind and body. The decision to breed her again after two very successful litters was a long and difficult one. I have never seen such a sweet bitch with this much courage and willingness to please. She is the reason the lock on the back door has not been fixed in four years. I have never once worried about the safty of my home with this outstanding Bouvier.
Brie is very gentle and loving and very protective over children and the less physically capable. Ever watchfull and quiet. She will not tolerate violence from man nor beast. The matriarch of my dogs, she keeps everyone in order and has never been challenged. One look from her piercing eyes is to see the awsome power of the Bouvier. She is also a world class licker!
Brie is an excellent mother having raised 19 puppies in two litter. I only need to feed and water her and she does everything else. A very easy bitch to whelp and keep. She has champion puppies and is the mother of the famous Halifax south end Bouvier, Simon.
