We have a special project unique to the Eastern Star - ESTARL (Eastern Star Training Awards for Religious Leadership). All funds raised in Québec by our local chapters are in its entirety awarded yearly as scholarships to people interested in religious training. These recipients are recommended by a member or a chapter but need not be a member themselves.  In 2002 four awards were presented for a total of $2,000.00.

PROJECTS:

The projects of General Grand Chapter have been generously supported, especially Cancer Fund and ESTARL (Eastern Star Training Awards for Religious Leadership.) From small beginnings in the early years, by 1970, though our membership was only 2,983, the total of our benevolent donations amount to $11,157.61. In 2001 our total charitable donations were $13,850.67 with a membership of 759!
